This Ramadan, Waarsa presents a thoughtfully composed seasonal menu that captures the soul of Awadhi mehman-nawazi—where food is not merely consumed, but offered with grace, patience and heartfelt generosity. Available from 17th February to 19th March 2026, the Ramadan Special Menu is served alongside the à la carte selection for both lunch and dinner, with specially curated iftaar experiences available through advance reservations.

Rooted in the values of tameez, reflection and community, the meal begins traditionally with dates and cooling sherbet, gently preparing the palate for an unhurried Dastarkhwan. The opening courses feature sigdi-roasted appetisers that balance smokiness with layered spice, including Rampoori Paneer Tikka, Achari Sakrakand Tikka, and robust non-vegetarian offerings such as Mandi Kebab, Soundha Murgh Tikka and the dramatic Atish-E-Jhinga.

At the heart of the menu lie slow-cooked Awadhi classics—dishes that reward time and restraint. Kathal Ki Nihari, Mutton Haleem, Paya Ki Nihari and Tabrezi Murgh Ka Salan showcase deep, soulful flavours, each paired with traditional Bakharkani to complete the experience. These recipes honour age-old techniques where slow simmering allows spices, meat and memories to meld seamlessly.

Ceremonial rice dishes bring a sense of festivity to the table. The Dudhiya Subz Biryani offers subtle elegance, while the Chuje Ki Dum Biryani delivers comfort and familiarity. The regal Khush Raan Mandi, prepared with patience and precision, stands as a centrepiece worthy of the season’s significance.

Desserts arrive with a sense of quiet indulgence—Khajur Makhane Ki Kheer, Kulfi Malpua, Gajar Halwa and Falooda—each offering sweetness tempered by nostalgia and balance rather than excess.

Adding to the experience, Waarsa will host a limited number of intimate iftaar gatherings for small groups of 10–12 guests. Curated personally by Chef Mukhtar Qureshi, these evenings begin at 7:00 PM and offer customised menus and elegantly styled tables, ideal for those seeking a more personal and reflective celebration of Ramadan.

Located at NCPA, Nariman Point, Waarsa is part of Aditya Birla New Age Hospitality, the hospitality arm of the Aditya Birla Group, known for shaping refined dining destinations across India.
