These menus offer a chance to
taste technique, creativity, and storytelling in one seamless flow, making them
the city’s preferred way to experience modern gastronomy. Amid this rising wave
of tasting-menu culture, one name stands out for elevating the craft with
artistry and precision: Tresind Mumbai.
New interiors and a New Menu
The renewed interiors of Tresind
Mumbai lean into a minimalist, clean aesthetic — no loud drama, just quiet
confidence. It’s classic without being old-school, modern without feeling cold,
and instantly inviting the moment you step in. The bar stands out as a true
highlight: sleek, well-lit, and designed to draw you in without overwhelming
the room, making it a natural gathering point before or after the tasting menu
experience. Scattered across the space are cozy corners perfect for groups,
offering just the right balance of intimacy and comfort. The entire redesign
feels purposeful — elegant, uncluttered, and crafted to make the food and
conversations shine.
Our 14-course vegetarian menu experience:
At Tresind Mumbai,
vegetarian fine dining turns into theatre — every course a brushstroke on a
Michelin-worthy canvas, envisioned by Chef Sarfaraz Ahmed, whose
artistry transforms humble vegetables into luxury experiences. His tasting menu
feels like storytelling plated with precision, flavour, and flair.
The journey opens with Pani
Puri, a familiar street-side favourite reborn in fine-dining form — crisp,
airy, and bursting with playful spice. Kohlrabi follows, a study in
simplicity and texture, whispering freshness in every bite. The Vegetable
Daleem comforts like slow poetry — silky lentils layered with depth and
warmth. Then comes Ghee Roast Jackfruit & Waffle, a riot of southern
spice and buttery indulgence, the kind of pairing that feels rebellious yet
right.

Tomato and Strawberry Chaat dances
between tang and sweetness, the kind of unexpected balance that makes Trèsind
unforgettable. Water Chestnut & Asparagus Salad resets the palate —
crisp, cool, and dressed in restraint. Taro Kebab brings smoke,
softness, and spice together in perfect sync, followed by the show-stealing Rajma
Nihari Morel, a slow-cooked, earthy marvel that replaces meatiness with
soulful finesse.
Parmesan Yakhni Khandvi Ice-Cream with Pickled Papaya & Chilli is genius on a plate — creamy, sharp, and delightfully shocking. Butternut arrives next, mellow and nostalgic, comfort elevated to couture. Kootu Malabar Tamarind Curry with Appam is coastal India reimagined, a hug of tang and texture. Khichdi of India celebrates regional heritage with refinement, a golden, fragrant ode to home.
The sweet symphony begins with Pazham
Pori, Banana Custard, Hazelnut & Chocolate Ice Cream, where Kerala
nostalgia meets Parisian polish. Caramel Milk with Roasted Barley Ice Cream
& Rose Cookie follows — subtle, warm, and breathtakingly balanced. The
finale, Coffee Stone, closes the performance with a deep, aromatic note
that lingers like a perfect memory.
