If you’re scanning Mumbai’s vibrant cultural scene this
weekend, set aside time for Viveek Sharma’s SACRED GESTURES—a striking
exhibition that reimagines femininity through a blend of traditional references
and contemporary visual language. Renowned for his dramatic lighting, saturated
hues and meticulous craftsmanship, Sharma weaves together the real and the
surreal, drawing from Lavani aesthetics, divine feminine symbolism and iconic
forms from popular culture.
The exhibition will be inaugurated on 2 December at 6:30 PM by Shobhaa De (author, columnist and novelist) and Rashmin Majithia (Founder, Zen Crafart), marking the beginning of a showcase that spotlights strength, fluidity, passion and transformation.
