Sunday is the ideal time to indulge in some quality me-time with your family and friends. We came across this amazing ‘Drunch’ which incorporated some crazy cocktail concoctions and a fantastic menu too. The café was packed with families and young couples actively socializing and celebrating with food and more.
WHAT’S HOT IN MUMBAI recommends the Weekend Drunch MAGNA CAFE & BAR. MAGNA CAFE, based in THE THANE CLUB has a tempting exotic menu, scintillating cocktails, sinful desserts and yes, a live sushi counter which seemed to be every kids favorite haunt. The ambience is superlative and we enjoyed every moment.
On the ambience front, MAGNA CAFE is a stand-out with its gorgeous, bright, and green space. The monochromatic walls with the neon lighting are perfectly balanced with color-breaking upholstered furniture in vibrant colors. The lighting has classic luminous accents, the chic aesthetics and the private carriage seating is surely one of our favorites'. The greenery around the entire café adds the positive aura of being outdoors.
On the food front, you can savor the tantalizing creations crafted by their expert chefs, who skillfully combine premium ingredients to deliver an unforgettable dining experience. Chef Mehboob Saifi served us some delectable bar bites and exotic mains of his personal choice. The café had a packed house on a Sunday, with a mix of families and dating couples. The live sushi counter was a super-hit with the kids.

Starters:
Mushroom Galwati, Beijing chicken, Slice lemon chicken and Kung pao paneer were personal choices of the Chef. We loved the dynamic flavors which were variant and surely delectable.
Mains:
Grilled rawas with lemon butter and Veg nasi goreng with jasmine rice were absolute stunners when it came to the multi-cuisine range. The pricing is quite competitive and no compromise has been made on the food quality or flavor.
For drinks, we would recommend the Butterfly and Sunshine. They too serve some shakes and more which you could experiment with.
Do make sure you book your tables in advance since this café seems to be the ultimate party zone for Thanekars. Since we were on a weekend staycation at THE THANE CLUB, we noticed that in the evening this café turns into a party place with a DJ and his iconic playlist. The millennials surely love this place since it is a complete package. Surely, a visit to MAGNA CAFE is worth the trip, even for Mumbaikars.
