I would like to warn all who plan to visit Om Thaai Spa. Their service is pathetic, they are cheating you on the products they use, and their new staff is incompetent.
A disastrous experience for sure, I hope this review will help save your money.
Om Thaai Spa should be banned!

On 2nd January 2016,
I visited Om Thaai Spa / Color café for my rebonding session. The service that
has been meted out was totally unprofessional. I was made to wait for almost 90
minutes despite having made an appointment 2 days in advance.
While waiting, the reception
staff tries to cross-sell other services like a foot massage and pedicure. I
insisted I would wait and refused to even take the complimentary coffee. She
did manage to cajole me into taking a complimentary foot massage.
The staff was a sweet girl,
who apparently was an amateur. Finally my turn for my rebonding session comes
and senior stylist Liah is called. I did sense the confusion in this girl who didn’t
seem to get the communication right. She kept insisting on a keratin treatment
while I was firm on my choice.
Liah spoke high about she was
with JCB and kept giggling out of context. A normal 2 hour plus treatment was
finished in less than 90 minutes. I did quiz her of the second cream
application which is part of the rebonding session but was told that the new
cream has the neutralizing feature with it. The cream proportion application
was much less than my previous visit. Not doubting her capabilities since the
reception staff Jenifer vouched for her credentials, I did not raise any alarm.
I booked the hair wash
appointment for Tuesday 5th Jan 2016 at 1230 noon. To my shock, when
I reached I was told that there was a management training and I could not have
my hair wash. Having taken a day off, I tried to reason with Jenifer who did
not seem to budge. I left in a fury and did tell her that this unpardonable
service would be highlighted to others who had been referred.
Roopa Soni, the owner, called
me and tried her best to have me walk back for the hair wash and basic haircut.
I refused since such lackadaisical service was the second and final nail in the
wall for me.
To my shock and after caring
for my hair for 2 days, I realized that the rebonding session hadn’t been successful.
My hair weren’t razor sharp and silky unlike my previous session. I did mention
this to Jenifer who said that Liah was over-confident that the treatment was
effective.
The staff is so uniformed that
they volunteered to repair the damage by a similar treatment. Aren’t they aware
that once you do such a treatment, a repetition would only cause damage to the
hair? When asked for a refund, they stopped responding.
I
would like to warn all who plan to visit Om Thaai Spa. Their service is
pathetic, they are cheating you on the products they use, and their new staff
is incompetent.
I overheard some clients even
complaining about their sub-standard massage offers they have given out on
Groupon.
Refrain from venturing to this
outlet which is only fooling customers. A month back, there was a news story
about how a Manipuri staff was beaten up the co-owner Rajesh Soni.
A
disastrous experience for sure, I hope this review will help save your money.

Thank you for this honest report. When I post videos at www.youtube.com/user/doctormason/videos it is to inform people just as YOU are informing us, of the reality of some places.
ReplyDeleteGood you wrote about this. I'd say dont let these guys go so easy. Why not connect with the grievance cell. Of course many social media platforms can be used to bring such incidences and cases to light.
